Chesapeake Bay Art Association
In 1961, artists living in Norfolk formed the Chesapeake Bay Art Association (CBAA). Each year, the CBAA hosts the Ocean View Art Show, in Norfolk.

Contemporary Art Center of Virginia
The Contemporary Art Center of Virginia is a nonprofit, noncollecting institution founded in 1952 to foster awareness, exploration and understanding of the significant art of our time. Regularly changing exhibitions feature painting, sculpture, photography, glass, video and other visual media from international, national, and regional artists.

Seawall Art Show
The Seawall Art Show showcases work by artists working in media such as oils, pastels, watercolor, acrylics, pen and ink, pencil, fiber, fine jewelry, fun jewelry, blown glass, lampwork glass, stained glass, pottery, photography, and metal.
Virginia Arts Festival
The Virginia Arts Festival is a non-profit organization that was established in 1997. Each spring, artists team up with professional arts organizations to present a mix of music, theatre, and dance.

The Artists Gallery is incorporated as a not-for-profit organization, managed entirely by its artist members. Founded in 1988, the Artists Gallery provides space for working, exhibiting, and showcasing original fine art by local and regional artists.
