The Hampton Roads Bird Club will host a birdwatching workshop on Sunday, March 25 at 7:00 a.m. on the Mariners’ Museum and Park Noland Trail in Newport News. Participants should meet outside of the Mariners’ Museum’s front entrance at 100 Museum Drive in Newport News.
The workshops provide opportunities to identify local species of birds and their habitats during interactive nature walks along the Noland Trail
The Hampton Roads Bird Club will hold birdwatching workshops along the Noland Trail on the fourth Sunday of each month through May. The Noland Trail birdwatching workshop series is free and open to the public.
The Hampton Roads Bird Club has been active in the community for over 60 years. They support scientific study, participate in bird counts, and other studies while promoting the development, protection, and conservation of bird life and other natural resources.
